CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW

First, the yoke is set up for a raglan construction and worked with increases to shape and lower the front neckline. Then, the yoke is continued with raglan increases to the bottom of the armholes where it’s then split to form the body and sleeves. The sleeves are placed on hold while the front and back are joined to form the body. The body is then worked to desired length and finished in half-twisted rib. Then the button bands and collar are worked in half-twisted rib. The sleeves are then placed back on the needles and worked with decreases to slightly taper the sleeve.
